“What is a human?” Come hear Hudson Chorale give Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s answer in a performance of her sublime cantata Hiob, with text from The Book of Job. This important work has been all but silenced for two centuries by the prominence of her famous brother. We delight in contributing to Hensel’s long overdue appreciation as a major artist of the nineteenth century.

Due to happenstance in choral history, Vivaldi’s Gloria (RV 588) is not as frequently performed as the ever-popular (RV 589), but it is every bit as vibrant and wonderful.

Finally, come to hear the exquisite melodies and exciting fugues contained in Mozart’s Vesperae solemnness de Confessore (“Solemn Vespers”), a work whose intricate and profound beauties have been recognized and beloved since its creation in 1780.

Join Hudson Chorale, soloists, and orchestra to celebrate with us the joy of music!
