We are thrilled to be introducing two unique pieces for our upcoming January 25-26 afternoons concerts to be held at Maryknoll Chapel in Ossining, NY.
The chorale will be performing “Malhaar: A Requiem for Water” by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, and “Carols and Lullabies” by Conrad Susa. These distinct pieces have intrigued (and challenged) us as we work through the music, and we look forward to sharing them with our wonderful supporters of family and friends.
Learn more about the composition of the Malhaar from this recent news article: https://www.newhavenindependent.org/article/malhaar_a_requiem_for_water_washes_over_sprague_hall
Tickets will be available online and through chorale members, stay tuned and please save the date!
