Few things in life are as satisfying as joining a group of talented, enthusiastic singers and making beautiful music together every week. Since 2010, the Hudson Chorale, Westchester’s largest chorus, has been performing in venues throughout the County, bringing the best in choral singing to the Hudson Valley. The chorus prepares two concert programs a year, one performed in January and another in June; two performances are given of each program. Our concerts have included traditional choral pieces such as the Brahms Requiem, lesser known works such as the Mass in D by John Knowles Paine, more contemporary works by composers such as Morten Lauridsen, Michael Conley, and Eric Whitacre. As our numbers have grown, so have our audiences, and we now enjoy a County-wide reputation for outstanding programming and superb artistry.
Come join us! Singing has never been so much fun!

Membership in the Hudson Chorale is open to all singers in all voice parts. Members come from Westchester and neighboring counties and represent a broad range of ages and vocations. All of us share a love of singing. While it is not necessary to have a professional level of musicianship to participate, some prior music training or experience is helpful in enabling each singer to master the music and have a positive experience. Singer-friendly auditions for new members are held at the beginning of each concert season. Current members in each voice part are re-auditioned every three years.
We begin our rehearsals every Monday evening promptly at 7:15 pm, and end at 9:45 pm. Additional rehearsals at concert times will be announced in advance. Our dues are $120 per semester ($220 for couples) or $220 per year ($400 for couples), and we also purchase our own music. We all support the activities of the Hudson Chorale by selling tickets, selling ads in the concert programs, and participating in the Chorale’s various fund-raising activities.
Many of us also volunteer to help with such activities as concert coordination, publicity, hospitality, and Board leadership. This support is not only helpful to the group, it is also a wonderful way to get to know other members of the Chorale. Come join us!
